About RACI

Who We Are

Regional Associates for Community Initiatives (RACI), is registered as a company limited by guarantee, and Community Based Organization CBO in AMURU District Local Government, and Arua. It was founded by a group of practitioners to connect between civil society and the primary grassroots stakeholders, Public Private Sector Participation, as well as complimentary partnership with the GoU due to the apparent insensitivity of the "invisible hand" of the market to the needs of especially the rural population and the limitation of NGOs, bilateral and multilateral organizations to holistic, inclusive, participatory, consultative interventions. The orientation of RACI is towards the inclusion of grassroots populations in determining their destiny in dignity and the opportunity to offer original thinking and innovative approaches to Human rights promotion, protection, Inclusive Peace and Security, democracy and good governance in the region.
